MaryMACDONALDIt is with great sadness that we announce that, after declining health, Mary Macdonald died at home on the 5th October 2025, aged 90.

Mother to Donald, Elizabeth, Julie, Gail and Ian, grandmother to Kirsty, Rose, Sarah and Imogen and great grandmother to Mitchell and Wayde. Reunited with her beloved husband, James.

The funeral will take place at St Peters Catholic Church, London Road at 12:00 noon on Tuesday 28th October with the burial afterwards at Coney Hill Cemetery.

All welcome to join us after at the Willow Tea Rooms at the Arbor for some light refreshments.

Family flowers only and donations to the St Peters Building Fund.

Mary was a dedicated Wife and Mother … Very caring and loving person with a great sense of humour … Her religion was her devotion and her support … I use to see her often walking or cycling to church in town … My dad respected Mary & thought the world of her … she was always dress smartly and was a pleasure to chat to … Thank you Gail for dedicating time to care for her so tenderly xx
